Thomson Reuters To Provide Reference Data To SmartStream’s Reference Data Utility, SPReD - Agreement Provides Reference Data To SmartStream With Access To Thomson Reuters PermID, Streamlining Complex Data Collection For Clients

Thomson Reuters today announced that it will now deliver reference data to SmartStream’s Reference Data Utility, known as Securities Product Reference Data (SPReD).  As part of the agreement, SmartStream will have access to Thomson Reuters PermID, the machine-readable identifier developed to create a unique reference for any data item. SPReD will provide services for instrument reference data normalization and validation across all asset classes to many of the industry’s leading banks.

S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI), one of the world's leading providers of financial market indices, and Toronto Stock Exchange have today announced the launch of three new climate change index series for Canada: S&P/TSX 60 Carbon Efficient Index, S&P/TSX 60 Carbon Efficient Select Index and S&P/TSX 60 Fossil Fuel Free Index. All three indices are derived from the constituents of the S&P/TSX 60, Canada's leading equity benchmark.

Oslo Børs Millennium Exchange: Merkur Market Launch In CDS

As previously announced the Merkur Market launch in Oslo Børs Millennium’s CDS-environment is November 2 2015. As the necessary changes needs to be implemented over a period of two days, Oslo Børs will start the setup of Merkur Market in CDS today, Thursday 29 October. This means that some reference data content will be added in the files created later today, valid for tomorrow Friday 30 October.

NYSE Appoints Doug Yones Head Of Exchange-Traded Products - NYSE On Track For Record ETF Listings In 2015

The New York Stock Exchange, part of the Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE) global network of exchanges, announced today it has named Doug Yones Head of Exchange-Traded Products. Yones will join the NYSE on Nov. 3 from Vanguard where he has worked for 17 years, most recently as head of domestic equity indexing and ETF product management.
