John Thanassoulis, Professor of Finance Economics at Warwick Business School, researches banking and has made the following statement on the latest banking stress test results:
“What the latest stress tests show is that we are out of the financial crisis – as all of the banks have passed – although two came close to not passing the test: Standard Chartered and Royal Bank of Scotland. But they were let through because they have plans to raise some more capital this year."

Singapore Savings Bond Issuances In 2016

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced today that up to $4 billion of Savings Bonds will be offered in 2016. The first Savings Bond of 2016 (SBJAN16) will be issued on 4 January 2016, and up to $300 million will be available. A new Savings Bond will continue to be issued every month. The issuance calendar for 2016, which sets out the key application and issuance dates, can be found on the Savings Bond website.

Starting from December 1, 2015, the half-price discount for transaction fee for the same contract of the PP futures with the positions opened and then closed on the same day will not be implemented any longer, and the rate of the transaction fee shall be restored to 0.005% of the trading amount.
