It is now two years since regulation of consumer credit transferred to the FCA. We saw another key milestone at the end of the last month as the deadline passed for firms which had interim permission to apply for full authorisation. So it is now an opportune time to reflect on the changes we have seen in the past two years.

Thank you for that introduction.  It is a pleasure to be here, and I would like to thank Fred Hochberg and his staff for hosting this event.  This gathering is a testament to the broad support for Ex-Im, which was apparent in the final vote tallies for Ex-Im’s reauthorization.  Given the critical role that Ex-Im plays in supporting U.S. exports, getting the Bank fully back in business has been a priority for this Administration.  And it should be a priority for the Senate, as well, which is why I urge the Senate to approve a new member to Ex-Im’s Board of Directors as soon as possible

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), today (Friday) published a guidance letter (GL) for listed issuers subject to rumours or market commentaries with allegation of fraud, material accounting or corporate governance irregularities (together, allegations) that may require a halt of trading in their securities.

ESMA Publishes New Q&A On CFDs And Other Speculative Products
