New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority Issues Formal Warning To Craigs

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has today issued a formal warning to Craigs Investment Partners Limited (Craigs) under section 80 of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009 (the AML/CFT Act).

Section 22 of the AML/CFT Act requires reporting entities to conduct enhanced due diligence on clients where the level of risk involved is such that this higher standard of customer due diligence should apply.

The offering is expected to close on May 9, 2016, subject to customary closing conditions.
