The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that four private equity fund advisers affiliated with Apollo Global Management have agreed to a $52.7 million settlement for misleading fund investors about fees and a loan agreement and failing to supervise a senior partner who charged personal expenses to the funds.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today issued an Order filing and simultaneously settling charges against Respondents Irina Feldman, Cindium Inc. (Cindium), and Einstein Exchange Group Inc. (Einstein) for committing solicitation fraud and misappropriation in connection with operating a commodity pool that offered foreign currency (forex) and commodity futures transactions, among other investments and for failing to register with the CFTC as Commodity Pool Operators (CPOs) and Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) as required. Feldman is a resident of Beverly Hills, California, and Cindium and Einstein are located in Century City, California. None of the Respondents has ever been registered with the CFTC.
DFSA Strengthens Regulatory Co-operation In The UAE

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The MoU was signed on behalf of the DFSA by Chief Executive, Mr Ian Johnston, and on behalf of the FSRA by Chief Executive Officer, Mr Richard Teng, at the offices of the DFSA.
