Solactive introduces Power Factor™ High Dividend Index - Licensed To WBI Investments

Solactive AG is announcing the launch of the Solactive Power Factor™ High Dividend Index, which will be used as the basis for a fund issued by WBI Investments. The index tracks the performance of 50 U.S.-listed stocks among large-, mid- and small-caps, which exhibit high dividend yield and strong fundamentals, as determined by WBI’s Power Factor™ approach. By investing in the Solactive Power Factor™ High Dividend Index, investors can gain exposure to stocks that score high relative to their peers using various valuation criteria. WBI’s fund – WBI Power FactorTMHigh Dividend ETF (WBIY) – will provide an opportunity to invest in a strategy which seeks to track the index.

ESMA Proposes New Digital Format For Issuers’ Financial Reporting

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has today published a feedback statement setting out the digital format which issuers in the European Union (EU) must use to report their company information from 1 January 2020. It concludes that Inline XBRL is the most suitable technology to meet the EU requirement for issuers to report their annual financial reports in a single electronic format because it enables both machine and human readability in one document.

Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today that it welcomed a total of 369 new listings so far in 2016 – including 277 in the U.S. and 92 in the Nordic markets – maintaining its position as the leading global exchange venue. With a 73 percent win rate representing 90 initial public offerings (IPOs), Nasdaq has extended its IPO leadership to 12 consecutive quarters in the U.S. Notable wins include trivago, Nutanix, Coupa Software in technology, First Hawaiian Bank in financials, and Extraction Oil & Gas in energy.

Millennium Exchange Release 9.1 Oslo Børs – Dress Rehearsal 1

The first dress rehearsal in Oslo Børs Millennium 9.1 project will be held on Saturday 21 January 2017. The test will take place in Oslo Børs’ production environment. It is mandatory for members and ISVs to attend at least one of Oslo Børs Millennium 9.1 dress rehearsals. The dress rehearsals are optional for market data vendors, however we recommend them to participate. A confirmed timeline of dress rehearsal 2 and Go-live is expected to be announced in January 2017.

ETFGI, the leading independent research and consultancy firm on trends in the global ETF/ETP ecosystem, today reported assets invested in ETFs/ETPs listed in the United States reached a new record high of US$2.471 trillion at the end of November 2016.
