Nigerian Exchange Weekly Market Report For The Week Ended 28 June 2024

A total turnover of 2.651 billion shares worth N49.976 billion in 41,610 deals was traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 3.301 billion shares valued at N53.157 billion that exchanged hands last week in 27,536 deals.

The Chicago Business Barometer™, produced with MNI increased 12.0 points to 47.4 in June. This is the first monthly rise after sixth consecutive monthly falls, making this month’s reading the highest since November 2023 with the index seeing the largest monthly increase since September 2020.
