    Data protection and security are of utmost importance to SIX as the main infrastructure provider for the Swiss financial center. In the constantly and rapidly changing world of IT, security requirements must be geared to changing situations and to the future. In its latest venture, SIX plans to work more closely with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich in order to be even nearer to the beating heart of research. A twelve-year research cooperation agreement with Zurich Information Security and Privacy Center (ZISC) at the ETH was sealed yesterday, making it an active cooperation partner for future projects and developments.

    On November 11, 2016, the MOF-SSE Government Bonds Issuance System was launched, through which the 2nd batch of Shanghai Government General Bonds in 2016 was smoothly issued. Local government bonds now have a new issuance channel.

  • Monetary Authority Of Singapore: Global FinTech Hackcelerator Produces Innovative Solutions To Industry Problems

    The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today announced that three FinTech companies will receive a cash prize of S$50,000 each for the technology solutions they presented at the Global FinTech Hackcelerator Demo Day. Organised as part of the inaugural Singapore FinTech Festival, the Hackcelerator saw 19 finalists using innovative technology solutions to solve problems submitted by the financial industry. The finalists presented a working demo of their solutions to 11 judges today. Please refer to Annex for the list of judges.
