Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission: Market Misconduct Tribunal fines AcrossAsia Limited, Its Former Chairman And CEO A Sum Of $2 Million For Late Disclosure Of Inside Information

The Market Misconduct Tribunal (MMT) today fined AcrossAsia Limited (AcrossAsia) $600,000, its former chairman Mr Albert Saychuan Cheok $800,000, and chief executive officer Mr Vicente Binalhay Ang $600,000 after finding they had failed to disclose inside information to the public as soon as reasonably practicable as required under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).

Stock Exchange of Thailand Adds PSH Into SET50, SET100 And SETHD Indices Effective Dec 1, 2016

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will add Pruksa Holding pcl (PSH), a newly established holding company investing in Pruksa Real Estate pcl (PS) which operates property development business as a core company, into the SET50, SET100 and SETHD indices, effective from December 1, 2016, to replace PS after PS has requested voluntary delisting of PS’s shares from SET and listing PSH’s shares on SET in place following its restructuring plan.

Abu Dhabi Global Market And Egyptian Securities Commission Collaborate To Enhance Regulations

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance regulatory cooperation and foster cross-border activities. The agreement was signed by Mr. Sherif Samy, Chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority and Mr. Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority.

Eurobank Is Second Broker In Greece To Go Live With Horizon

Horizon Software (Horizon), the leading global technology provider for electronic trading and investment management, has announced today that Eurobank Equities, the brokerage arm of Eurobank, one of the four systemic banks in Greece, has gone live with Horizon Software. Eurobank Equities chose Horizon’s Platform for Automated Trading for click trading, market making and agency trading on the Athens Exchange. It is the second Greek broker to go live with Horizon as a replacement for its legacy system.

European Parliament: Vote On Delaying Draft Investor Protection Rules To Allow Time For Improvements

On Thursday they will vote to delay implementation of new rules under which investment companies have to provide a consumer-friendly document to guide prospective investors of “packaged retail and insurance-based investment products” (PRIIPs).
