SET Kicks Off 2017 Roadshow In Hong Kong And Korea This Month

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), Thanachart Securities pcl and Daiwa Securities Co., Ltd. has recently hosted “SET Roadshow 2017: Sustainable Thailand” the first outbound roadshow of 2017 in Hong Kong, on March 13 with over 120 meetings arranged for top executives of nine Thai listed companies and 33 foreign institutional funds, to present the firms' strengths and the Thai economy's growth potential. Furthermore, at the end of March, SET will join hands with KTB Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to organize “SET Korea Roadshow 2017” in Korea, the new roadshow destination to expand the market.

On March 14th, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) and Hong Kong Exchanges (HKEX) launched the SZSE & HKEX Investor Education Cooperation Copy Exchange Ceremony themed with “Shenzhen and Hong Kong Serve Each Other Hand in Hand” and the first Getting Inside Securities’ Business Department event. Principals from the two bourses and the CSRC as well as member units and investor representatives attended the ceremony, witnessing a fresh start in Shenzhen and Hong Kong investor education cooperation (SZHKIEC).

Blockchain Collaborative Consortium Membership Reaches 109 Companies And Organizations - New Financial Services Subcommittee To Be Formed With Aim Of Boosting Awareness Of Blockchain Technology Among Financial Institutions

The Blockchain Collaborative Consortium (BCCC) was inaugurated on April 25, 2016, with 34 founding member companies. The consortium's Chairman is Yoichiro Hirano, CEO, Infoteria Corporation. Leading companies promoting the use of blockchain technology have also since joined, expanding BCCC membership to the current 109 companies and organizations. A decision was also reached to inaugurate the Financial Services Subcommittee in March 2017. The aim is to boost awareness of blockchain technology among financial institutions, where consideration of the adoption of blockchain technology is rapidly progressing.

Chinese Academy Of Sciences , Shanghai Stock Exchange Ink Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Recently, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between CAS and SSE at Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co., Ltd. (CAS Holdings). The strategic cooperation is a specific move to implement the national strategy of innovation-driven development and the effective integration of the scientific and technological industry policies and the capital market. Attending the signing ceremony were Wu Qing, SSE Party Chief and Chairman, Zhang Dongke, Vice Chairman of the SSE, Deng Maicun, Party Group Member and Secretary General of the CAS, and Wu Lebin, Chairman of CAS Holdings.
