During the 2017 Annual Meetings held in Bangkok, Mr. Rashid bin Ali Al-Mansoori, CEO of Qatar Stock Exchange, was today reelected as a Board Member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE). The meetings also resulted in the election of a number of Board Members representing the world's different regions; the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe-Middle East-Africa. Mr. Al-Mansoori was elected by the WFE General Assembly to represent Europe-Middle East-Africa region for three-year term.

SEC: State Street Paying Penalties To Settle Fraud Charges And Disclosure Failures

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that State Street has agreed to pay more than $35 million to settle charges that it fraudulently charged secret markups for transition management services and separately omitted material information about the operation of its platform for trading U.S. Treasury securities.
