  • Nasdaq Nordic And Baltic Markets: Trading Statistics August 2017

    Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today publishes monthly trade statistics for the Nordic and Baltic markets. Below follows a summary of the statistics for August 2017:

    • The share trading increased by 16.6% to a daily average of 2.745bn EUR, compared to 2.354bn EUR in August 2016. Compared to the previous month, July 2017, the daily average decreased by 7.4%.
    • Derivatives trading increased by 4.9% to a daily average of 332,490 contracts, compared with 317,074 contracts in August 2016.
    • ETF trading (Exchange Traded Funds) decreased by 24.9% to a daily average of 21.2m EUR compared to 28.2m EUR in August 2016.
    • Novo Nordisk A/S was the most traded stock per day during the past month, followed by Pandora A/S.
    • Deutsche Bank AG was the most active member during the past month, followed by Hudson River Trading Europe Ltd.
    • Nasdaq Nordic’s share of order-book trading in our listed stocks increased to 67.7%, compared to 66.3% previous month4.

  • Turnover At Deutsche Börse’s Cash Markets At 116.2 Billion Euros In August - Trading Volume Increased By 25 Percent Year-On-Year

    Order book turnover on Deutsche Börse cash markets totalled €116.2 billion in August (August 2016: €93.3 billion). Of the €116.2 billion, €105.9 billion were attributable to Xetra (August 2016: €84.7 billion) and €3.6 billion to Börse Frankfurt (August 2016: €3.3 billion). Order book turnover on Tradegate Exchange totalled €6.7 billion (August 2016: €5.4 billion).

  • The Trading Volume On The Spanish Stock Market Reached €33.6 Billion In August, Up 9.5% Year-On-Year

    • The number of equity trades in August grew 6.4% year-on-year
    • New admissions on MARF at the end of August were up 105% on the year

  • NSD Valuation Center Adopts New Methodology On Bond Valuations

    Starting 1 September 2017, National Settlement Depository (NSD) has initiated the publication of fair values of ruble-denominated bonds calculated on the basis of a new methodology incorporating the latest concepts for assessing fixed income financial instruments.
