The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today announced a cease and desist order against the New York (Primary), Chicago, and Los Angeles federal branches of MUFG Bank, Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, for violating the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and its underlying regulations.

The EU is taking the steps needed to continue to ensure a high level of aviation safety in its airspace in the event the UK leaves the EU without a negotiated agreement. Member states' representatives meeting in the Council's Permanent Representatives Committee today approved an agreement with the European Parliament on a draft regulation aimed at ensuring the continued validity of certain aviation safety certificates.

ACER To Adopt New Decision On Gas Capacity Booking Platform On German-Polish Border

The Agency takes note of the ACER Board of Appeal (BoA) Decision, published today, in the appeal case A-002-2018, PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH v ACER, in which the BoA annuls the Agency Decision No 11/2018 on the gas booking platform to be used at the ‘Mallnow’ interconnection point (‘IP’) and the ‘GCP’ virtual interconnection point (‘VIP’) on the German-Polish border. The case was referred to the Agency by the national regulatory authorities of Germany and Poland, as they failed to reach an agreement.
