    Cassini Systems,  the leading provider of pre- and post-trade margin analytics for derivatives market participants, today announced its first physical presence in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region with the opening of a new office in Sydney, Australia.  The move follows the recent onboarding of a large Australian asset manager and significant interest in Cassini's services from other firms in Australia as well as throughout the region.

    We are facing an unprecedented national challenge—a health and safety crisis that has required all of us, for our own sake, the sake of our families and friends, and in fact the sake of all Americans, to significantly change our daily behavior.  Many have made difficult personal sacrifices, and there have been many heroes in our collective fight against this virus—including our first responders, healthcare professionals, those who support them, and those who come to work every day to make sure our shelves our stocked, among many others.  We should always recognize them.


  • ESMA Consults On Clearing Solutions For Pension Scheme Arrangements Under EMIR

    The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has today launched a public consultation on a range of issues regarding potential central clearing solutions for Pension Scheme Arrangements (PSAs) under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). The consultation is based on ESMA’s First Report to the European Commission documenting the progress made to date towards potential clearing solutions for PSAs.

  • EBA Publishes Guidelines On Treatment Of Public And Private Moratoria In Light Of COVID-19 Measures

    Following the publication of its statement on the application of the prudential framework regarding default, forbearance and IFRS9 in light of COVID-19 measures, the European Banking Authority (EBA) published today more detailed guidance on the criteria to be fulfilled by legislative and non-legislative moratoria applied before 30 June 2020. The aim of these Guidelines is to clarify the requirements for public and private moratoria, which if fulfilled, will help avoid the classification of exposures under the definition of forbearance or as defaulted under distressed restructuring.
