The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA), a global member association seeking to foster standardisation within the financial industry by upholding the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) principles and by promoting International Securities Identification Numbers, ISINs, and Classification of Financial Instrument codes, CFIs, and Financial Instrument Short Names, FISN, for financial instruments, announce a new Technology Taskforce (TF-22) on Digital Assets. This initiative has been created to help examine how ISINs may be able to help identify possible harmonisation of standards.

Thank you for inviting me to speak at this China Financial Summit, held as part of the 22nd China Beijing International High-Tech Expo. I am delighted to be here at this time of celebration for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. I acknowledge China’s economic achievements, having grown to now be the world’s second-largest economy. Without question, technologies (including financial technology) have been a feature of this accelerated growth.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Decides To Terminate Listing Of Shares In *ST Dafu Holdings

On October 18, 2019, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) made a decision to terminate the listing of shares in *ST Dalian Dafu Enterprises Holdings Co., Ltd. (the “Company” for short) in strict accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Rules for Stock Listing" as well as the review opinions of the Listing Committee. The Company has become the first SSE-listed company forced to have the listing terminated because its share price was continuously below par. As a result of market selection, the termination of the shares in the Company reflects the orientation of the delisting system toward marketization, normalization and rule of law. The SSE will continue to stringently implement the delisting system, resolutely take the responsibility for delisting, effectively control the exit, foster the mechanism for the survival of the fittest, and consolidate the foundation for improving the quality of the listed companies.
