HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contract: XiaoMi Corporation

Please be advised that pursuant to Exchange Rule 617(d) and HKCC Rule 402, the Exchange and the Clearing House have determined that with effect from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 23 January 2020, (including the mandatory intra-day variation adjustment and margin call, if applicable), the margin levels of the following Futures Contract shall be as follows:

Deutsche Börse Group: Clearstream Receives CSDR Licence For Its German CSD

Deutsche Börse Group’s post-trade services provider Clearstream has obtained the CSDR licence for Clearstream Banking AG, its German central securities depository. The licence was granted by the German Federal Financial Services Authority BaFin pursuant to Art. 16 CSDR (core and non-banking type ancillary services). The authorisation is effective as of 21 January 2020.

Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange: Notice On Night Trading Time During 2020 Spring Festival

According to relevant regulations in the Detailed Rules for Trading in Night Session of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, the Exchange hereby clarifies the night trading hours during 2020 Spring Festival holiday as follows:
No night trading session will be carried out on the night of January 23, 2020. The call auction session for all contracts on January 31, 2020 is 08:55 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. Night trading session will be resumed on the night of January 31, 2020.

New investor Goldman Sachs Growth led the round with participation from Bpifrance, through its Growth Fund Large Venture, alongside Idinvest Partners, Iris Capital, and Famille C.

During the fifth anniversary of the launch of SSE 50 ETF options, in order to implement the requirements of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for strengthening cultural development in the securities and fund industry, promote the application of stock options in risk management of assets, and encourage options participants to make effective efforts in investor education, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) carried out from December 2019 to January 2020 the third SSE appraisal of "Outstanding Options Lecturers" and “Excellent Options Investment Advisors” as well as the SSE selection of “Top 100 Stock Options Business Branches in 2019”. The winners in each appraisal are hereby announced in the attachment (in no particular order).

Bursa Malaysia And Maybank Join The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, Recognizing Commitment To Advancing Women In The Workplace

Bloomberg today announced that Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) and Maybank have joined the 2020 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which distinguishes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women’s equality. Bursa Malaysia was included in the index for the first time while Maybank has been in the GEI since 2018.

China's Ministry Of Science And Technology, Shanghai Stock Exchange Sign MOU On Deepening FinTech Integration, Supporting Innovation-driven Development

On December 26, 2019, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) signed a cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) on jointly promoting the healthy development of the SSE STAR Market and strengthening support for major national tasks in innovation. Witnessing the signing ceremony were Li Meng, member of the Party Leadership Group and vice minister of the MOST, and Huang Hongyuan, Party chief and chairman of the SSE. At the same time, the MOST and the SSE jointly held a forum for the enterprises of scientific and technological innovation to solicit opinions and suggestions on promoting the healthy and rapid development of the SSE STAR Market and the directions of scientific and technological innovation for the national “14th Five-Year Plan”, etc.

Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange: Notice On Adjustments To Margins And Price Limits During 2020 Spring Festival

According to Article 9 of the Measures for the Administration of Risk Control of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) hereby adjusts margins and price limits during the 2020 Spring Festival holiday as follows:
- From the settlement on January 22, 2020, margins and price limits of each product (Rapeseed futures excluded) will be adjusted to 9% and 7% respectively.
- Trading will be resumed on January 31, 2020. Margins and price limits of each product will be restored to the previous levels from the settlement of the first trading day on which limit-locked market does not occur on the contract with the largest open interest of such product.
