Due to the major impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the operations of businesses, the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles and the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) wish to inform entities subject to the obligations in the Act respecting transparency measures in the mining, oil and gas industries This link will open in a new window (the "Act") that the annual statements to be provided to the AMF will be accepted up to 120 days after the deadline prescribed in the Act.

IMF Enhances Debt Relief Trust To Enable Support For Eligible Low-Income Countries In The Wake Of The COVID-19 Pandemic

In direct response to the COVID-19 crisis the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive Board has adopted some immediate enhancements to its Catastrophe Containment and Relief Trust (CCRT) to enable the Fund to provide debt service relief for its poorest and most vulnerable members. The CCRT enables the IMF to deliver grants for debt relief benefitting eligible low-income countries in the wake of catastrophic natural disasters and major, fast-spreading public health emergencies.

US Federal Agencies Announce Two Actions To Support Lending To Households And Businesses

The federal bank regulatory agencies today announced two actions to support the U.S. economy and allow banking organizations to continue lending to households and businesses:
- Allowing early adoption of a new methodology on how certain banking organizations are required to measure counterparty credit risk derivatives contracts; and
- Providing an optional extension of the regulatory capital transition for the new credit loss accounting standard.

ESMA Confirms Application Date Of Equity Transparency Calculations
