The Chicago Business BarometerTM, produced with MNI, rose to 36.6 in June with business activity picking up as Covid-19 related shutdowns eased somewhat. Across Q2, business sentiment slipped 11.8 points to 34.8, hitting the lowest level since Q1 2009.

Thomas Book To Become New Chairman Of The Management Board Of The Frankfurt Stock Exchange

Thomas Book was appointed as Member of the Management Board of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by the Exchange Council. He will take over the Chairmanship of the Management Board, succeeding Hauke Stars, who will leave Deutsche Börse on 30 June and resign from the Management Board.

Liquidity in the swaps market came under pressure as the COVID-19 crisis spread globally in late February into early March, then rebounded after governments and central banks intervened. To understand the nature of the crisis and the consequences of the official sector interventions, Greenwich Associates, in conjunction with ISDA, interviewed 172 buy- and sell-side swaps market participants in the United Kingdom, European Union, North America, Japan, Asia, Lain America, Africa and Emerging Markets.

In line with the Securities and Commodities Authority’s (SCA) decision No. (13/Chairman) of 2020 Concerning Procedures of Dealing with Risk Classified joint stock companies, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) today announced the launch of the “Category B Screen” as of Sunday July 5th 2020. The new screen consists of listed companies with accumulated losses of 50% and above of its issued capital based on the financial results of 2019 as well as companies suspended from trading for six months and above.
