  • CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

    Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, and CSI 300 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2012, IH2012, IC2012, and IO2012(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in December 2020) is December 18, 2020.

  • Shanghai Futures Exchange: Circular On Adjusting The Delivery Fee For Copper And Other Futures Contracts

    The delivery fee for Copper, Aluminum, Zinc, Lead, Nickel, Tin, Steel Rebar, Wire Rod, Hot-Rolled Coil, Stainless Steel, Gold, Silver, Natural Rubber, Bleached Softwood Kraft Pulp, Fuel Oil and Bitumen futures contracts will temporarily be updated to 0 from January 9, 2021 to January 10, 2022. The same adjustment applies to the business including EFPs and standard warrants transfers that are settled via Shanghai Futures Exchange.

  • SIX Exchange Regulation: Delisting Sunrise Communications Group Ltd., Opfikon

    Sunrise Communications Group Ltd. has requested that all of its listed registered shares (Swiss Security Number 26’729’122 / ISIN CH0267291224) with a nominal value of CHF 1.00 will be delisted from SIX Swiss Exchange. SIX Exchange Regulation AG (SER) has approved the companies’ application on 10 December 2020.   • SGX Signs MOU With CCDC To Strengthen Singapore-China Bond Markets

    Singapore Exchange (SGX), Asia’s largest international bond marketplace, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Central Depository & Clearing Co (CCDC), a central securities depository for Chinese government bonds, in a wide-ranging agreement to strengthen and promote Singapore and China’s bond markets. This is CCDC’s first comprehensive MOU of strategic cooperation with an international exchange, that covers the full lifecycle from issuance to settlement and custody.

  • Monetary Authority Of Singapore Expands Mandate Of Industry Steering Committee To Drive SIBOR Transition

    The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced today that the mandate of the Steering Committee for SOR Transition to SORA (Committee) will be expanded to enable it to oversee the interest rate benchmark transition from SIBOR to SORA.  This follows a joint industry report  published today announcing the discontinuation of the remaining SIBOR tenors in phases over the next four years.  The Committee will be renamed as the Steering Committee for SOR & SIBOR Transition to SORA (SC-STS).
