  • S&P Dow Jones Indices Europe Dashboard

    • An up and down month saw European equities stumble to a flat finish; the S&P Europe 350® finished down a few basis points on the quarter. 
    • Under the hood, Germany contributed the most positively, thanks in part to its champions in the Discretionary and Industrials sectors. Large British banks weighed down on the S&P United Kingdom, which underperformed this month and quarter. 
    • The S&P Europe 350 Energy saw the largest quarterly move among our reported indices, declining 18% as the prospects of a return to pre-pandemic levels of demand for fossil fuels dimmed.  

  • SIFMA Fixed Income Market Close Recommendation In The U.S., the U.K. And Japan For U.S. Columbus Day

    SIFMA has confirmed its previous holiday recommendation for a full market close on Monday, October 12 for the trading of U.S. dollar-denominated fixed income securities in the U.S., the U.K., and Japan in observance of the U.S. Columbus Day Holiday.

  • Nadex Trading Platform Outage

    Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (the “Act”), and §40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act, North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) submitted notice to the Commission that on trade date September 29, 2020 at 5:21AM ET, the Nadex trading platform experienced a technical issue which led to an outage affecting the trading platform. The issue was corrected and the platform was restored 9:57am ET.
