40 Innovative Solutions Shortlisted For Monetary Authority Of Singapore FinTech Awards

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced today that 40 solutions to address key challenges have been shortlisted for the MAS FinTech Awards to be presented at this year’s Singapore FinTech Festival x Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology (SFF x SWITCH). The theme for this year’s Awards is “Building Resilience, Seizing Opportunities, Emerging Stronger”.

- Volatility (as measured by the average daily movement in the All Ordinaries Index) was 0.8% in October (compared to 0.6% in the pcp).
- Expected future volatility (as measured by the S&P/ASX 200 VIX) in October was an average of 20.9 (compared to 13.6 in the pcp).

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. Announces Secondary Offering By Selling Stockholder Related To Ellie Mae Acquisition

Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges and clearing houses and provider of mortgage technology, data and listings services, announced today that Cyprus Parent, LP, an entity controlled by Thoma Bravo and formerly known as Ellie Mae Parent, LP (the “selling stockholder”), intends to offer for sale in an underwritten secondary offering 9,180,569 shares of ICE’s common stock pursuant to ICE’s shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The shares being offered were originally issued to the selling stockholder in connection with the acquisition of Ellie Mae, Inc., which ICE completed on September 4, 2020.

CFTC: Federal Court Orders Colorado Company And Its Principal To Pay Over $900,000 For Digital Asset And Forex Ponzi Scheme

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced that the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado entered a judgment against defendants Venture Capital Investments LLC (VCI) and its principal and manager Breonna Clark d/b/a Eliot Clark d/b/a Alexander Pak (Clark), both of Denver, Colorado, for fraudulently soliciting and misappropriating funds from clients in a digital asset and forex Ponzi scheme.
