MGEX Reports Best Fiscal Year In History

MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reports the best fiscal year in its history with a total of 3,380,945 contracts. There was a 28% increase in volume compared to the previous fiscal year, and it was the first time in MGEX history where total exchange volume surpassed three million contracts in a fiscal year.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, today announced the launch of its Sponsored General Collateral (GC) Service, a new offering from its Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) subsidiary, and that the first trades have been executed by BNY Mellon, Federated Hermes and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC.

August 2021 Monthly Figures At Eurex

Notional outstanding volumes in interest rate swaps (IRS) jumped by 31 percent in August 2021 compared to the same month last year, from 7,740 billion EUR to 10,148 billion EUR. Across all instruments, total notional outstanding grew by 7 percent across the same period, from 19,266 billion EUR to 20,612 billion EUR. With respect to average daily cleared volumes, the figure for IRS was up by 96 percent year-on-year in August – growing from 9 billion EUR to 19 billion EUR – while the overall figure showed a small drop of 4 percent, from 72 billion EUR to 69 billion EUR.

Purdue University /CME Group Ag Economy Barometer improved in August, up 4 points to a reading of 138. The modest rise was attributable to improvements in both of the barometer's sub-indices. The Index of Current Conditions rose 9 points to a reading of 152 and the Index of Future Expectations rose 2 points to a reading of 132. The Ag Economy Barometer is calculated each month from 400 U.S. agricultural producers' responses to a telephone survey. This month's survey was conducted betweenAugust 23-27, 2021 . -

ETFGI Reports ETFs Listed In Europe Reached Record Assets And Net Inflows At The End Of August Have Surpassed The Prior Full Year Record

ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETFs and ETPs ecosystem, reports ETFs listed in Europe reached record assets and net inflows at the end of August have surpassed the prior full year record. The net inflows into ETFs and ETPs listed in Europe were US$12.07 billion during August, bringing year-to-date net inflows to US$139.42 Bn which is US$19 Bn greater than the full year 2020 net inflows of US$119.93 Bn and $14 Bn more than the record $125.18 Bn net inflows gathered in 2019. Assets invested in the European ETFs/ETPs industry have increased by 2.1%, from US$1.51 trillion at the end of July, to a record US$1.54 trillion, according to ETFGI's August 2021 European ETFs and ETPs industry landscape insights report, the monthly report which is part of an annual paid-for research subscription service.
