Shenzhen Stock Exchange Launches A Roadshow For International Carbon Neutralization Projects To Promote The In-Depth Connection Between Green And Low-Carbon Technologies And Capital

On September 29, the Roadshow for International Carbon Neutralization Projects (for Low Carbon Materials) was held online via SZSE's V-Next platform. This is the first roadshow of V-Next's investment and financing activities in the context of carbon neutrality policies, involving five projects from the UK, Greece, Russia and Singapore. The roadshow covers solar cells, biodegradable adhesives, nanotechnology and other fields, and is attended by nearly 100 representatives from listed companies and investment institutions engaged in new materials, energy saving and environmental protection.

Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) announced a record-breaking volume of 307,524,110 contracts in first three quarters of 2021, up 17.7% from 261,228,026 contracts in the same period last year, and the average daily volume (ADV) also set a record, rising to 1,708,467 contracts from 1,435,910 contracts, up 19.0%. In Q3 2021, total volume grew at a steady pace to 99,741,287 contracts, increased by 14.0% compared to 2020.

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit Tokyo and Saitama prefectures on October 7. Despite this, trading on derivatives markets of Osaka Exchange (OSE) and Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) is currently continuing without any problems. Trading on all markets of Tokyo Stock Exchange, OSE and TOCOM is scheduled to continue as normal from October 8 and beyond.
