Good afternoon, Chairwoman Waters, Ranking Member McHenry, and members of the Committee. I’m honored to appear before you today for the first time as Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Thank you for inviting me to testify on the market volatility we witnessed in January. In a notice dated 23 April 2021, BaFin ordered Advanced Software Solutions Ltd., Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as the operator of the invcenter.com trading platform, to immediately cease its unauthorised proprietary trading activities.

Moscow Exchange: Risk Parameters Change For The Security CI-RM

As per the Securities market risk parameters methodology, on 06.05.2021, 17-34 (MSK) the lower bound of the REPO rate for tenor Y0/Y1Dt (up to -37.4 %) and IR Risk Rate (up to -22.07 rub) for the security CI-RM were changed. New values are available here

Investing In Tech Giants With Evolve ETFs’ FANGMA ETF Tracking Solactive Index

Only a few companies hold the potential to change the life of billions of people permanently. Among those game-changers, four technology titans form a special group, commonly known by its acronym FANG, which stands for Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Alphabet (formerly acknowledged as Google). Recently, the FANG-gang admitted two new members, Microsoft and Apple, in their prestigious club, effectively forming FANGMA. Evolve ETFs, one of Canada’s fastest-growing ETF providers, now released a new ETF including these six FANGMA companies. The ETF, which tracks the Solactive FANGMA Equal Weight Index, started trading on May 6th, 2021, on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under ticker symbols TECH, TECH.B and TECH.U.

ESMA Updates Its Opinion On Ancillary Activity Calculations

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, published today an updated Opinion on ancillary activity calculations. The opinion provides the estimation of the market size of commodity derivatives and emission allowances for 2020.
