JPX Publishes “Survey Of TCFD Disclosure In Japan”

On November 30, Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) published the “Survey of TCFD Disclosure in Japan”, a survey of disclosure based on the Recommendations of the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) among the 259 Japanese listed companies which had declared support for TCFD (and were listed as a TCFD Supporter on TCFD’s official website) as of the end of March 2021.

ASIC Reports On Audit Inspection Findings For 12 Months To 30 June 2021

ASIC’s recent inspection of 45 audit files for the 12 months to 30 June 2021 has shown an overall increase in the percentage of key audit areas where auditors did not obtain reasonable assurance that the financial reports were free from material misstatement. The overall results for the six largest firms were consistent with last year.

On November 29, SZSE and its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. announced a regular adjustment made, in line with the index compiling rules, to the sample stocks of SZSE series indexes including SZSE Component Index, ChiNext Index, and SZSE 100 Index (collectively referred to as “1+2” core indexes). The adjustment will be effective from 13 December 2021.
