SEC Names Nicholas Grippo As Regional Director Of Philadelphia Office

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Nicholas P. Grippo has been named Regional Director of the Philadelphia Regional Office, effective September 12, 2022. Mr. Grippo currently serves as Chief of the Criminal Division for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey (USAO) where he supervises approximately 120 prosecutors and support staff.

ETFGI Reports Global ETFs Industry Gathered Net Inflows Of 42.46 Billion US Dollars During July 2022

ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETFs/ETPs ecosystem, reported today global ETFs industry gathered net inflows of US$42.46 billion during July, bringing year-to-date net inflows to US$505.79 billion. During July 2022, assets invested globally in the ETF/ETP industry increased by 5.9%, from US$8.86 trillion at the end of June to US$9.37 trillion, according to ETFGI's July 2022 global ETFs and ETPs industry landscape insights report, the monthly report which is part of an annual paid-for research subscription service. Bursa Malaysia To Launch Voluntary Carbon Market Exchange By Year-End - Inaugural Transaction Via Auction

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) will be launching the Voluntary Carbon Market (“VCM”) exchange later this year. A voluntary carbon market exchange enables companies to purchase voluntary carbon credits from climatefriendly projects and solutions. In line with the growing awareness of climate action, voluntary carbon markets will play an important role to support financing for projects and solutions that reduce, remove or avoid greenhouse gas emissions (“GHG”). Participation in the voluntary carbon market will allow companies to offset their carbon emission footprint and meet their voluntary climate goals. Through Bursa Malaysia’s VCM exchange, both buyers and suppliers will be able to transact high-quality carbon credits at transparent prices.
