The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has obtained disqualification orders in the Court of First Instance against DBA Telecommunication (Asia) Holdings Limited’s (DBA) former executive director Mr Chan Wai Chuen and former independent non-executive director Mr Yun Lok Ming.

Dr. Maryam Butti Al Suwaidi, CEO of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), took part in the gender equality bell ringing ceremony hosted yesterday by the Dubai Financial Market (DFM). Present at the ceremony were H.E. Hamed Ahmed Ali, CEO of the DFM; Ali Al Hashimi, Executive Vice President and Head of the Financial Services Division; and Maryam Mohamed Fikri, CEO of the Dubai Central Clearing and Depository Holding LLC. Around 121 exchanges from around the world celebrated this occasion.

SIX Reports Successful 2021 Performance Despite Challenging Global Situation

2021 was a successful year for SIX, despite the challenges and uncertainties that recurring waves of COVID-19 continued to inflict on society and financial markets. The income benefitted from organic growth and the newly combined business of SIX in Switzerland and Spain: For the first time the Spanish business acquired by SIX in mid-2020 contributed for a full 12 months. All four business units of SIX performed well, although they were differently impacted by various external factors, not least in connection with the pandemic.
