Nadex Temporarily Amends Binary Contracts Strike Levels

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(d) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) hereby provides notice that due to increased or decreased volatility, as the case may be, in the underlying markets upon which the Nadex contracts are based, Nadex made changes to the strike levels of various contracts during the week of March 28, 2022 as indicated in the Weekly Notice.

US Office Of The Comptroller Of The Currency Releases CRA Evaluations For 23 National Banks And Federal Savings Associations

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today released a list of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance evaluations that became public during the period of March 1, 2022 through March 31, 2022. The list contains only national banks, federal savings associations, and insured federal branches of foreign banks that have received ratings. The possible ratings are outstanding, satisfactory, needs to improve, and substantial noncompliance.

Iceland Upgraded To FTSE Russell’s Secondary Emerging Market Status

Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announces that the global index provider FTSE Russell has decided to upgrade Iceland to Secondary Emerging Market status, effective from market open on Monday September 19, 2022. Fifteen Icelandic securities are expected to be eligible for the FTSE Global All Cap Index from start.

US Financial Stability Oversight Council Meetings

On Friday, April 8, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will preside over a meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (Council) by videoconference. The meeting will consist of only an executive session. The preliminary agenda includes an update on macroeconomic developments and an update on the Council’s work related to digital assets.

Update On The IMF's Institutional Safeguards Review

Considerable progress has been made on the previously announced review of the International Monetary Fund’s institutional safeguards . The Staff Working Groups (SWGs), have continued to advance with their work around the Fund’s internal governance and staff voice; and data and analysis integrity . The External and Independent Panel of High Level Experts , led by Jens Weidmann, has also moved forward with its assessment of the Fund’s Dispute Resolution System and recommendations to strengthen institutional safeguards.

Acting Comptroller of the Currency Michael J. Hsu today discussed financial stability and large bank resolvability at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. In his remarks, Acting Comptroller Hsu discussed gaps in resolvability for the largest non-global systemically important banks, potential solutions, and the subsequent effect on financial stability.
