At the end of the settlement date of July 31, 2023, short interest in 3,275 Nasdaq Global Market^SM securities totaled 10,124,012,140 shares compared with 10,433,832,264 shares in 3,291 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of July 14, 2023. The end of July short interest represent 2.70 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.26 days for the prior reporting period.
