The company is not supervised by BaFin. The SEC’s 1,656 pages of complicated proposals interact with the existing ruleset, pending proposals, and each other. We assess their implications through the lens of 4Vs – i.e., Volume, Velocity, Veracity, and Variety. The result is an upside-down smile curve shifting downward, largely resembling the existing shape (i.e., remain status quo) of a “frown”.
