  • NYBOT’s® NYFE Division To Permit Exchange Traded Funds As Part Of An Exchange For Physical Transaction - Approval Clears Way To Efficiently Use ETFs In NYFE's Russell 1000® Index Futures Contract

    The New York Board of Trade’s (NYBOT) New York Futures Exchange (NYFE) division’s Board of Directors decided at a recent NYFE Board Meeting to permit the use of Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) as the physical or cash component of an Exchange for Physical (EFP) transaction in the Russell 1000 Index Futures contract traded on NYFE. There will be no additional EFP transaction fees, and no minimum contract size.

  • Change of Business Hours Of HKEx And Its Subsidiaries

    The business hours of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) and its subsidiaries, The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Futures Exchange and Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company, have been changed to 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, effective 2 October 2000. Offices will be closed on Saturdays.

Premium turnover in equity options was up 82% on the same month last year, and the trading volume in equity options rose by 34% in September, representing an increase of 23% for the first nine months of the year.
