Nymex To Increase Margins On Natural Gas Futures

The New York Mercantile Exchange will raise the margins on its Henry Hub natural gas futures contract as of the close of business today to $3,500 from $2,500 for clearing members; to $3,850 from $2,750 for members; and to $4,725 from $3,375 for customers.

NASD Members Elect Seven Governors To Board

(NASD®), today conducted its Annual Meeting for the membership to vote on the election of seven candidates to serve on the NASD Board of Governors. European Public Real Estate Association And Amsterdam Exchanges Launch Epra Index series

EPRA, the recently established European Public Real Estate Association announces together with the Amsterdam Exchanges that as from 31 May 2000 they will publish a new European index on real estate, the EPRA Index. The EPRA Index contains approximately 100 public quoted real estate companies in 14 countries throughout Europe and can therefore be seen as a truly objective and representative benchmark for the real estate industry in Europe.

The Bank of Copenhagen Granted Inactive Status In FUTOP Clearing Centre

The Bank of Copenhagen (Den Københavnske Bank A/S) has applied for inactive status in the FUTOP system. This has been granted with effect from 26 May 2000. Thus the company cannot trade and report listed futures and options to the clearing house.

Deutsche Börse Updates Rules And Regulations For Neuer Markt - Free Float For Large Issues Reduced To 10 Percent - Index Rules Remain Unchanged

Deutsche Börse is adapting the rules and regulations for Neuer Markt to the changed market requirements, and expanding the rule for free float: As of May 31, a free float of 10 percent will be sufficient for companies with an issue size of more than 100 million euros to be admitted to the Neuer Markt segment.

There has been uncertainty as to whether Damgaard A/S will be included in the KFX portfolio, which becomes effective on 19 June 2000. Please be informed that Ratin A/S will not be delisted before 19 June 2000, consequently, Damgaard A/S will not be included in the KFX Index.

Canada's Growing Shareowners - New TSE/World Investor Link Survey Shows 49% Of Canadians Own Shares

According to the 2000 Canadian Shareowners Study, Canada continues to have a strong equity culture, with 49% of adult Canadians directly or indirectly owning shares. This is a sharp increase from 37% in 1996 and 23% in 1989.
