    The Montreal Exchange made the final major step in the restructuring of the Canadian exchanges, with the transfer of 57 equity options classes from the Toronto Stock Exchange. In addition to its exclusive futures market, the Montreal Exchange now becomes the sole options market in Canada, with a total listing of 141 options classes.

    Due to the start of Daylight Savings Time in Europe on Sunday, March 26 (Daylight Savings Time does not begin in the U.S. until Sunday, April 2), the hours for the FINEX Dublin trading sessions will change for the week of March 26 to March 31 only. After March 31, hours for this session will revert to the normal trading hours.

    Options trading at the Toronto Stock Exchange closed for the final time today. Trading in these products will start at the market opening on the Montreal Exchange effective Monday March 27. This will complete the transfer of all derivatives trading to the Montreal Exchange as envisaged under the agreement to realign the stock exchanges in Canada.

At the start of trading on SWX, the stock stood 159% above that level at CHF 700.00, representing a total market capitalization for the company of CHF 1,680 million.
