  • Eurex Discontinues Trading in Options On CONF Futures

    Eurex, the European derivatives market, will discontinue trading in options on the CONF future (future on a notional eight-to-13-year bond of the Swiss federal government) as of the March 24, 2000 expiration date. Trading in the products will be blocked for all expiration dates up to the time of the actual delisting, since there are no longer any more open positions. No new series will be introduced.

  • CHX Continues Record-Breaking Pace In February

    The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) continued to outpace last year's trade and share volume as it posted record-breaking numbers again in February. Total share volume finished at 2,037,287,188, up 130 percent from February 1999. Total trade volume increased 171 percent from last February, ending at 5,120,653.

    The Singapore Exchange is pleased to announce additional changes to the Listing Manual following a further review of the listing rules, taking into account the recommendations of the Corporate Finance Committee and the practices in other developed markets. The Exchange had on 20 September 1999 announced changes to the admission requirements for equity securities, including changes to the quantitative criteria for admission to the SGX Main Board.
