  • CBOT Moves Forward With a/c/e Software Enhancements

    The Chicago Board of Trade announced today that software enhancements will be implemented to its electronic trading platform a/c/e--alliance/cbot/eurex. These enhancements will ensure all customers continued access to CBOT® and Eurex products through the a/c/e system as Eurex moves forward with its 5.0 Release this fall.

  • CBOE Announces Record Volume In Ishares (Sm) S&P 100® Index Fund (OEF)

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that for the third time in less than a week, volume in the iShares(SM) S&P 100® Index Fund (ticker symbol OEF) set a new record. Volume at CBOE in the OEF was 827,500 shares, beating the record of 707,300 shares that was established on Tuesday, June 5, 2001. The OEF iShares trade exclusively at CBOE and Wolverine Trading, L.P. is the Designated Primary Market Maker (DPM). Trading hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Central Time.

    Turnover for May was EUR 60,873.9 million. This compares to EUR 52,684.8 million in April. Domestic turnover in May was EUR 56,916.4 million, foreign turnover EUR 3,187.8 million, Nuovo Mercato, Domestic, EUR 707.8 million, Nuovo Mercato, Foreign, EUR 15.4 million and on the Ristretto market EUR 46.5 million.

  • Announcement Regarding Nedgraphics Holding N.V.

    Euronext Amsterdam has studied the financial position of NedGraphics Holding N.V., which has an equity deficit. Following consultations with the company, Euronext Amsterdam has decided that NedGraphics has until 18 June 2001 (the date when formal approval is to be given for a private issue) to regain a positive equity position. Until that date, Euronext Amsterdam will not take any measures regarding the listing of the company.

  • Railtrack To Leave FTSE 100

    FTSE, the global index group, today confirms that Railtrack Group plc will be deleted from the UK’s benchmark index. It will be replaced in the FTSE 100 by retailer Next plc. These changes were approved this afternoon at a regular quarterly meeting of FTSE’s independent practitioner Committee, and will be applied to the index at close of business on Friday 15th June.
