Saudi Arabia Capital Market Authority: 300% Increase In Foreign Investors’ Ownership Value In The Saudi Capital Market During The Last 5 Years

The value of foreign investments in the Saudi capital market has increased by 300% over the past five years, specifically from 2018 to the end of 2022, reaching SAR 347.01 billion by the end of the period. This constitutes 14.2% of the total value of the free float in the main market, compared to SAR 86.86 billion in 2018, which represents 3.77% of the total value of free float shares in the main market for that year.

Qatar Stock Exchange: FTSE Global Equity Index Series December 2023 Quarterly Changes

Qatar Stock Exchange would like to announce that the results of FTSE Russell Global Equity Index Series quarterly review, published on November 17th 2023, will be effective after the close on December 14th 2023 for the Qatari market.
The changes announced may be subject to revision until close of business on December 1st 2023. Effective Monday, 4 December 2023, the index review changes will be considered final.

Federal Reserve Announces College Fed Challenge Winners

Harvard College won the 20th annual national College Fed Challenge on Friday, a team competition that encourages students to learn about the U.S. economy, monetary policymaking, and the role of the Federal Reserve System. Teams analyze economic and financial conditions and formulate a monetary policy recommendation, modeling the Federal Open Market Committee. The team, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, represented the Boston District and included Hyuntae Choi, Sam Meacham, Ben Workman, Megan Yeo, and Dora Ivkovich. The team's adviser was Benjamin Friedman.

The EBA Publishes Final Templates To Collect Climate-Related Data From EU Banks

The European Banking Authority (EBA) today published the final templates that will be used to collect climate-related data from EU banks in the context of the one-off Fit-for-55 climate risk scenario analysis. The templates are accompanied by a template guidance, which includes definitions and rules for compiling the templates. Furthermore, the EBA is also disclosing the list of banks participating in the exercise.
