RTS Index closed at 402.91 on May 14. Thus it exceeded 400 for the first time since 1998. The last time the RTS Index exceeded this point was on January 6, 1998, when it reached 410.04.

MNX Open Interest Passes Million Mark At CBOE

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced record open interest of 1,011,526 contracts (553,319 calls and 458,207 puts) in CBOE Mini-Nasdaq-100 Index options (MNX). The MNX was launched on August 14, 2000, at CBOE, and is now consistently one of the top five index products, in terms of volume, traded at CBOE.

At their annual general meeting on Wednesday, the shareholders of Deutsche Börse AG voted in favor of disbursing a dividend of 0.36 euros per share, with respect to 102,760,000 shares. The dividend for the financial year 2001 is thus 20 percent higher than the previous year. Of the distributable profit totalling 60 million euros in financial 2001, 37 million euros will be distributed, 23 million euros will be allocated to the retained earnings.
