The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) member and non-member organizations today reported short interest of 1,095,377,834 shares as of the June 15, 2007 settlement date, an increase of 154,894,932 from the 940,482,902 (adjusted) shares reported in mid-May. The June figure represents trades through June 12, 2007.
