CME To Offer Around-The-Clock Trading Of Commodity Products On CME Globex

Wiener Börse Calculates Serbian Index

Starting today, the stock exchanges of Vienna and Belgrade have joined forces to work together in the field of indices. The General Manager of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX), Gordana Dostanic, and Michael Buhl, Joint CEO of Wiener Börse AG, signed an index cooperation agreement today in Belgrade. The Serbian Traded Index (SRX), which currently tracks the eight largest and most liquid stocks on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, will be launched today in euro, US dollar and Serbian dinar.

UK’s Financial Services Authority Publishes Updated Measure Of UK Market Cleanliness

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is today publishing the results of its latest work to measure the cleanliness of UK financial markets OP25 – Updated Measurement of Market Cleanliness. The recent exercise extended the period examined to include trading data from 2004/2005 as well as improving the methodology used to determine the level of market cleanliness.

SGX To Acquire A 5% Stake In Bombay Stock Exchange

Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE) announced today that they have entered into an agreement for SGX to invest in a 5% stake in BSE. SGX will subscribe to the shares of BSE at Rs 5,200 per share for Rs 189 crore (USD 42.7 million).
