ICE Futures Sets Daily Volume Record With Over 430,000 Energy Contracts Traded
IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced that ICE Futures, its regulated futures subsidiary, achieved an exchange-wide daily volume record. On May 4, total volume in ICE Futures markets reached 430,939 contracts, surpassing the April 25 record of 407,303 contracts by 5.8%. Total open interest stood at 948,239 contracts, up 46.2% compared to 648,585 contracts at December 31, 2005. ICE Futures, which is the home of the benchmark Brent Crude futures

Election Of Peter Gomez As Chairman Of The Board – Changes In The Board Of Directors Of SWX

CBOT Fed Watch - May 5 Market Close
In advance of next week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on May 10, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

CBOE Creates Two New Indexes Based On The Russell 2000 Index
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that it plans to publish two new benchmark indexes, under an agreement with the Russell Investment Group, based on the Russell 2000 Index: the CBOE Russell 2000 BuyWrite Index (BXR) and the CBOE Russell 2000 Volatility Index (RVX), beginning today. Both will be based on prices of the Russell 2000 Index options (RUT) traded at CBOE.
