Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of TransForce Income Fund (TSX:TIF.UN) have approved the conversion of the company to a corporate structure. The units will be exchanged on a 1-for-1 basis for TransForce Inc. (TSX:TIF). As a result of the conversion, TransForce Income Fund will be removed from the S&P/TSX Income Trust Index. NYSE Euronext And NYSE Foundation Donate $500,000 To The Red Cross To Support China Earthquake Relief Efforts

NYSE Euronext (NYX) and the NYSE Foundation have approved donations totaling $500,000 to the Red Cross Society of China and the American Red Cross International Response Fund to support the relief efforts associated with the earthquake in China's Sichuan province.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, May 15, 2008: The shares of Gamehost Income Fund (TSXVN:GH.UN) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol.

SEC: Office Of The Chief Accountant Names Academic Fellows

Hewitt, the Commission's Chief Accountant, announced today the selection of Donal Byard, Susan Krische, and Roger Martin as Academic Accounting Fellows for fixed terms beginning this summer.
