NYMEX Holdings, Inc., the parent company of The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: NMX) announced today that it intends to release its fourth quarter and full–year 2006 results on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, before the market opens. SEC: Fred Alger Management And Fred Alger & Company To Pay $40 Million To Settle Market Timing And Late Trading Violations
The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Fred Alger Management, Inc. (Alger Management) and Fred Alger & Company, Incorporated (Alger Inc.) will pay $40 million to settle the Commission's charges that the companies allowed market timing and late trading in the Alger Fund. The Commission issued an Order that found Alger Management and Alger Inc. failed to disclose these arrangements to the Board of Trustees of the Alger Fund. CBOT Agricultural Options Set New Daily Trading Volume Record - Exchange’s Corn and Federal Funds Options Set Volume Records
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced that trading in its Agricultural options set a new daily volume record yesterday, climbing above 250,000 contracts for the first time. The new record of 252,217 contracts surpasses the previous record of 242,189 contracts set on October 13, 2006.

WCE Holdings Inc. Announces Stock Split
The Board of Directors of WCE Holdings Inc. approved a 25 to 1 stock split which will increase the number of issued and outstanding Class A Common Shares from 24,000 to 600,000. KCBT Announces Member Dividend For 2006 - It Is The Ninth Year In A Row A Dividend Is Paid
The board of directors of the Kansas City Board of Trade at the December 19 board meeting declared a dividend for 2006 for all full members (Class “AA” Members) of record as of Nov. 28, 2006. A record-high dividend of $11,000 per share will be paid in January 2007. This represents a 3.4 percent return on seats that last traded at $320,000 in 2006.
