    Treasury today released the attached report, required by section 102 of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act. As required by section 102(a), Treasury established the Asset Guarantee Program to provide guarantees for assets held by systemically significant financial institutions that face a high risk of losing market confidence due in large part to a portfolio of distressed or illiquid assets.

    NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) today announced the introduction of the OMXI6 Index, a new index on NASDAQ OMX Iceland, which will replace the OMXI15. The new Index consists of the six most traded and liquid companies listed on NASDAQ OMX Iceland. The purpose of the index is to reflect the Icelandic investment opportunities and function as a desired investment tool for fund managers and other investors.

    Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of CI Financial Income Fund (TSX:CIX.UN) have approved the conversion of the company to a corporate structure. The units will be exchanged on a 1-for-1 basis for CI Financial Corp.(TSX:CIX). As a result of the conversion, CI Financial Income Fund will be removed from the S&P/TSX Income Trust Index.
