IntercontinentalExchange, Inc.(R) (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of regulated global futures exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, will announce second quarter 2009 financial results on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. An earnings press release will be issued prior to the earnings conference call, which will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Since the introduction of Xetra MidPoint six months ago, trading activities and liquidity in this closed Xetra order book have continuously increased. The daily average number of orders in the last month was around 12,000 – with a peak level of 28,000 orders. The highest daily turnover to date was in the region of €40 million.
