For the period of April 1 – June 30, 2009 the trading volume on FORTS, RTS’s derivatives section, reached 3,253.7 billion roubles or 123.4 million contracts. As of the end of the reviewed period the open interest stood at 75.8 billion roubles or 4.0 million contracts.
