ICE And NGX Announce March 3 Launch For Cleared Physical Natural Gas
IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, and Natural Gas Exchange Inc. (NGX), a leading energy exchange and clearinghouse, will offer clearing and settlement services for physical OTC natural gas contracts beginning March 3, 2008. Physical clearing on select U.S. trading hubs will be available as part of the previously announced alliance between ICE and NGX.

SGX And SICOM Agree In-Principle To SGX Acquiring Majority Stake In SICOM For S$7.5 Million
Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) and Singapore Commodity Exchange Limited (SICOM) announced today that they have agreed in-principle to SGX acquiring at least 95% of SICOM, through the subscription of shares, for a total investment of S$7.5 million.

Eurex: New Daily Record – Turnover Of More Than Half Million EUA Futures
On Tuesday, 26 February 2008, a new daily record was achieved in trading of EUA futures on the market for emission rights operated by European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) and Eurex with 600,000 EUAs. The previous daily record was set on 21 February 2008 with 485,000 EUAs. In February, a total of roughly 5 million EUAs has already been traded.
