CME Group, Osaka Securities Exchange Sign Memorandum Of Understanding
CME Group (Nasdaq: CME), the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, and Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE), the premier Japanese derivatives and securities exchange, today announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to pursue opportunities to jointly develop products and services that will benefit market users globally.

Key Figures SWX Swiss Exchange, SWX Europe And Scoach Switzerland: August 2008
In August 2008 the SWX Swiss Exchange, SWX Europe and Scoach Switzerland had a combined turnover of 114.2 billion francs, down 31.5 % against the previous month. In the month under review, the total number of transactions was 2,958,615. For the most part, the equity indices have advanced in a monthly comparison. The SMI® blue-chip index, for example, ended the month at 7,238.7 points, up 1.37 % against July 2008; the more broadly based SPI® closed at 6,061.8 points, up 1.63 %.

Direct Edge Monthly Volume For August 2008 - Record Handled And Matched Market Share
Direct Edge ECN announced today statistical information regarding its volume for August 2008. Direct Edge reported over 798 million shares handled per day in August, representing a 144% year-over-year increase. Direct Edge’s handled market share in all U.S. equity securities was 10.80% for the month, with a 5.69% matched market share. Handled market share and matched market share were all-time highs.

Futures Commission Merchant Nations Investments, LLC And Members Of Two South Florida Families Ordered To Pay $5.4 Million To Settle Undercapitalization And False Statement Charges Brought By The CFTC
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that Nations Investments, LLC (Nations), a futures commission merchant (FCM) based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and its principals, Sulaiman “Sal” Husain and his son, Mansur “Manny” Husain, will pay $3.5 million in restitution and $1.5 million in monetary penalties to settle undercapitalization and false statements charges, brought by the agency.

Kansas City Board Of Trade Wheat Volume Third Largest In August - New HRW Wheat Settlement Procedures Go Into Effect Today
The Kansas City Board of Trade trading volume for the month of August amounted to 438,250 contracts in the hard red winter wheat futures contract, which is the third-largest trading volume for the month of August, behind 565,463 contracts in 2007 and 559,282 contracts in 2006.
