Small Broker-Dealers To Work with Morgan Stanley In Connection With U.S. Treasury’s Sale Of Citigroup Common Stock

The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that 12 small broker-dealers will work with Morgan Stanley in connection with Treasury's sale of Citigroup common stock. Morgan Stanley, as sales agent to Treasury for the Citigroup sale, engaged the firms following an announcement on April 26 seeking interested broker-dealers.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission on June 15, 2010, issued an order permitting the Kansas City Board of Trade and the Kansas City Board of Trade Clearing Corporation to clear over-the-counter wheat calendar swap transactions. The Order was issued pursuant to authority set forth in Section 4(c) of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA).

Reductions In The HELEX Group Tariffs

The Board of Directors of Hellenic Exchanges SA (HELEX) has decided to modify the fees that it charges to investors, listed companies, brokerage companies and custodians, with the aim of improving the competitiveness of the Greek capital market. At the same time, HELEX is providing motives to brokers to increase the penetration of the new services offered by the Group. These changes will go into effect on the 1st of July 2010.
