After-Hours Trading Volume On FORTS Exceeds USD1.4 Billion

On May 6, 2010 a new evening session trading record was set on FORTS, the derivatives market of RTS with RUB42.964 billion or USD1.418 billion in value traded. It is the highest value since the launch of the evening trading session on FORTS.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for April 20101. Derivatives trading volumes in April 2010 recorded strong year-over-year growth, with European derivatives average daily volume ("ADV") increasing 51.5%, driven in part by a 47% increase in fixed income derivatives product ADV and U.S. options ADV increasing 62%. BM&FBOVESPA – the Brazilian Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange registered a record of 152,121 trades in its derivatives segment today (06 May) - its market milestone in this segment. The previous record of 112,069 trades was set on May 04, 2010. Today’s trading session registered 4,624,705 contracts traded and a financial volume of BRL 317.38 billion.
