The Board of Directors of the Jamaica Stock Exchange has approved a quarterly dividend of 9.91% per annum on the Redeemable Variable Rate Preference Shares in the amount of $0.0494 per share payable on December 8, 2010 to shareholders on record as at December 3, 2010. The X-date is December 1, 2010.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) lost no time to tighten supervision and prevention of insider dealing on the securities market in compliance with the recent requirements of the General Office of the State Council for the crackdown and prevention of insider dealing on the capital market.
UK's Financial Service Authority: Senior Manager Found Guilty Of Insider Dealing And Money Laundering

In a case brought by the Financial Service Authority (FSA) Neil Rollins, a former senior manager of PM Onboard Limited, a waste industry firm, was today found guilty of five counts of insider dealing and four counts of money laundering at Southwark Crown Court after he traded on the basis of information he obtained as a result of his senior position and laundered the proceeds.

CESR Invites Expressions Of Interest In ESMA’s Securities And Markets Stakeholder Group By 23 December 2010

Pursuant to the draft European Parliament and Council Regulation establishing1 the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the Committee of European Securities Regulators (CESR) today launches a process to establish the Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group. The Committee is therefore calling for expression of interest from potential stakeholders.
